1. Introduction
At Ria Christie Collections, we want every customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase. We understand that sometimes you may need to return an item, and we have designed this Returns Policy to make that process as straightforward as possible.
This policy applies to all orders placed through our website, riachristiecollections.com, by customers worldwide. It forms part of our contract with you and should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions of Sale and Delivery Policy.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply in full, and nothing in this policy limits those rights.

2. Your Statutory Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.
The 14-day cancellation period begins the day after you, or a person you nominate, receives your order. If your order contains multiple items delivered separately, the 14-day period begins the day after you receive the final item.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us clearly in writing within the 14-day window. You can do this by:
• Emailing us at [email protected] with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel
• Writing to us at the address set out in Section 9 of this policy
Once you notify us of your cancellation, you then have a further 14 days to return the item(s) to us. We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your returned goods, or of receiving proof that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.
Under your statutory cancellation rights, we will refund the full price of the item(s) plus the standard delivery cost you paid. We do not refund any premium or express delivery upgrades.
3. More information on Returns Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us as per Section 2 of this document, provided the following conditions are met:
a) we receive your returned item within 28 days of the dispatch date;
b) the item is unused and in its original, unopened condition, with all packaging, labels, and any seals intact;
c) the item is in a resaleable condition, enabling us to sell it as new; and
d) you follow the returns procedure set out in Section 5 of this policy.
Under our goodwill returns policy, we refund the purchase price of the item only. We do not refund original delivery charges, and you are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the return is due to our error. See Section 4 for details.
4. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to a repair, replacement, or full refund if the goods you receive are:
• faulty or damaged on arrival;
• not as described on our website; or
• not the item you ordered.
If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected], quoting your order number and a description of the issue. Where possible, please include a photograph of the damage or error.
In these cases, we will cover the full cost of return postage and arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional charge to you, in accordance with your statutory rights.
5. How to Return an Item
To return an item to us, please follow these steps:
• Step 1 — Contact us first: Email [email protected] with your order number and the reason for your return. We will issue you with a Return Authorisation Number (RAN).
• Step 2 — Pack your item securely: Include a covering note inside the parcel quoting your RAN and your original order number.
• Step 3 — Send via Royal Mail Signed For: Post your return to:

• Step 4 — Keep your proof of postage: We strongly recommend using a tracked service and retaining your proof of postage until your refund or exchange is confirmed. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Please note: Do not return any item without first obtaining a Return Authorisation Number (RAN). Returns received without a RAN may experience processing delays.
6. Refunds
We process refunds as follows:
• Statutory cancellation (within 14 days): Full refund of the item price plus standard delivery charge, processed within 14 days of receiving your return or proof of postage.
• Faulty, damaged, or incorrect item: Full refund of the item price, original delivery charge, and return postage costs.
We issue all refunds using the same payment method you used to place your original order, unless we agree otherwise with you. If a deduction applies (for example, where goods show signs of handling beyond what is necessary to inspect them), we will notify you before processing.
We aim to process all refunds promptly and, in all cases, within 14 days of receiving your returned item or proof of postage.
7. Return Postage Costs
Who pays for return postage depends on the reason for the return:
• Statutory cancellation or change of mind: You are responsible for the cost of return postage.
• Faulty, damaged, or incorrect item: We cover the full cost of return postage.
We recommend sending all returns via Royal Mail Signed For or another tracked service, as we cannot accept responsibility for returned items that are lost or damaged in transit before they reach us.
8. Returns We Cannot Accept
We are unable to accept returns or offer refunds in the following circumstances:
e) the item shows signs of use, damage, or has been read and is no longer in a resaleable condition;
f) the original packaging, labels, or seals have been removed or damaged (unless the return is due to a fault);
g) the item is returned outside the 28-day returns window without prior agreement from us; or
h) the return has not been authorised with a Return Authorisation Number (RAN).
If we receive an item that does not meet our returns criteria and you have no statutory right to a refund, we will not issue a refund or exchange. We will contact you to arrange redelivery of the item to you at your expense.
If we do not receive payment of the redelivery charge within 14 days of requesting it, we reserve the right to dispose of the item, without liability to you.
