This is a 2-part book:The first half of the book is a colorful picture book with a story of a young girl growing vegetables in her garden.The book uses rhymes to introduce young children, approximately 3 to 5, to gardening and naming different vegetables.The second half of the book uses one vegetable for every letter of the alphabet and tells some fun facts about that vegetable.This gives children a chance to learn about vegetables, how they are grown, as well as learning letters of the alphabet.
