Growing up as a young black man in 1980s Philadelphia, I was on the brink. The influences of negativity surrounded me. I adopted a delinquent path, hustling just to survive in my teenage years. The cold streets took no prisoners. I almost lost my life many times. By the grace of God alone, I'm here to share my story. This is the raw truth of inner-city boyhood, revealing the real pressures we face. The parent-child lessons show what works and what doesn't in the hood.
