The Thinking Leaf

The Thinking Leaf is the story of a maple leaf that throughout his life cycle learns the valuable lesson of humbleness. In the beginning of the story, he is very prideful because of his position at the top of the tree but soon learns as the seasons change and autumn arrives that he was simply made and positioned for a particular purpose (just as the rest of the leaves, tree, roots, and grass underneath were) and all are just as important. He learns to be humble in his purpose.
