Hi. I am a retired high school Maths teacher from Australia. I learnedmany things as a teacher, but the most important were to neverunderestimate a child's ability to learn, and to always engage with humourand enthusiasm. This book attempts to introduce and to raise the child'sawareness of the wider world outside the family home. This world is fullof differences and also similarities. It is full of excitement and wonder andadventure. The book explores values of family, friendship, engagementand activity. Concepts of science, history, maths and the environment areintroduced. The book is relentlessly positive and affirming. Oh, and do notforget to count the bubbles.
