No one group held its length for long and much blood was spilt over the title deeds.This was Maikhatun's world, and she understood the machinations of powerful men who claimed that women had a place in the household of their fathers and husbands if they struggled against these constraints then they could opt to serve their lord and master as messengers as they held the memory of any message without the need to carry written text and it could fall into enemy hands.She had her own horse and that dictated that she would choose to ride the dangerous roads between campaigns as a messenger. Thoughts of being confined to one household drove her to be the best at her trade.Something pulled her towards the wild lands and towards a truth that would settle her restless heart once she arrived on the pastures of her ancestry as she searched for the truth that was lacking in the world.Things are not always what they seem... and the answer could be one of the oldest civilisations without written records to detail how many migrations had taken place from the home world.To save the people from catastrophe the next migration had to be executed quickly and Maikhatun found herself swept up into the scrabble to save some of the heritage and people.
