Case of the Heartbreak Heist

Without essential items like whisks, cake tins, and cookie cutters, the show may come to a grinding halt. Luckily, the Pigeon Private Detectives—PPD for short—are on the scene and determined to get to the heart of the matter. But the clues on the case are quite curious, leaving the PPD perplexed. Have they finally met their match in a case they can't crack? Once again, author-illustrator Christee Curran-Bauer pokes fun at detective procedurals with kid-friendly humor, as she did in The Case of the Missing Tarts and The Case of the Poached Painting.
