June 6, 1944. Allied forces hit the beaches of Nazi-occupied France. Among the countless lives shattered are those of five spirited women with starkly different lives. A Nazi radio propagandist, a medical volunteer pushed to her limits, a French resistance fighter, an Iron-willed member of the Gestapo, and a deeply religious woman facing a horrifying task.
